🔥Training Intensity for Injury Prevention🔥

When you do any sort of exercise programming, what are you goals? Is it to prevent a future injury?

While it is basically impossible to "bulletproof" your joints so that it never sustains damage, you can try your best to modify your training intensity to teach your tissues to build more resiliency

In this Stuart McGill PhD quote, he is describing how much load you should be exposing your body to when training. Programming of athletes should be a good mix of lower and high intensity workouts

Low intensity training will target general strength or endurance
Higher intensity training should be more explosive (power/speed)

If you are training to be better at your sport, try looking at your training regime through this perspective. Have questions? Consult with your local trainers, therapists to see what works for you and your goals! Level Up Chiropractic is here for you!
